Brunch at Brooklyn

Check out these beautiful red lilies in the centre of the table during our relaxed Saturday morning brunch at Brooklyn Bread and Bagels Cafe. It was such a lovely day and Wellington has been cheering and feeling blessed for the warm weather we have been lucky enough to have lately. Tipo and I were lucky enough to be taken to brunch by his lovely mum where we enjoyed some eggs florentine, chef’s breakfast special, grilled halloumi on turkish bread and basil pesto with a salmon + dill pattie for all of us to share. What a treat!

Chai latte and flat white – always. We like to have half each, we share nearly everything! I love Saturday morning brunches, definitely the time of the week I look forward to.

The grilled halloumi I ordered was delicious and a perfect choice for brunch. The traditional cheese from Cyprus went perfectly with the basil pesto on the Turkish bread and the creamy avocado. I definitely will eat or grab a coffee at Brooklyn Bread and Bagels again!

Tipo having fun with the camera while we went for an afternoon stroll in Karori along ‘Friend Street’ – Such a lovely street name :)

Hope everyone had a beautiful weekend – let’s all enjoy this week! xx
