As I’m sitting here with my hot porridge and green tea, something totally just clicked.
I’ve been so focussed on what to do and what I haven’t yet done I seem to forget to acknowledge all that I have already achieved. It really is that simple isn’t it? To forget about how far you’ve come and always be thinking about what is left to do. I know that I have SO MUCH TO DO – but it shouldn’t stop me from celebrating what I have already accomplished in the past week, month or even year – heck, celebrate what you’ve already done today! It’s a good way to pull yourself back from your hectic schedule, re-charge and give yourself some credit. You’ve worked hard and now it’s time to acknowledge that
We can be so hard on ourselves sometimes that we forget to praise ourselves and I do understand that it’s not easy to do. We praise others all the time and admire them for their accomplishments that are different to our own and then forget to acknowledge ourselves. Give yourself that moment because you deserve it. Sometimes I’ll just get myself a little treat, have a huge delicious breakfast,
go have some drinks, go out for dinner or simply do nothing to give myself a rest – it’s up to you, just acknowledge your efforts!
With your goals, celebrate the small steps along the way – Don’t beat yourself up for not reaching a target date. Look back and recognise all your hard work you’ve put into the smaller steps and celebrate every bit of success to recharge you for the rest of the journey.
Simple task I ask of you today, since it’s Wednesday (or “hump day”) let’s celebrate what we’ve achieved this week and just forget about Thursday and Friday for a minute – a simple tasks to get you to acknowledge yourself and your efforts!
Have a beeeeeeaaautiful day!
Erica xx

Thanks for the great post and reminder to celebrate your life accomplishments thus far. I am celebrating keeping my promise to do yoga when I wake up and at night, asking for my new schedule at work, reading books again, listening to my intuition and waking up/ getting back on the path this year.
GREAT post! Love it. Best, Kellie
So true. We have to remind ourselves.
