Currently Obsessed: Acrylic Coffee Tables

My obsession with acrylic home-ware started when I watched videos of some YouTube beauty gurus and I noticed their acrylic make up storage. Stylish, yet functional as you can see everything that is cased by the acrylic drawers. This obsession has moved past acrylic drawers to… acrylic coffee tables. Check out this collage I found on glitter guide which shows several different ways you can style up your small apartment living room or in fact, any room that would benefit from a coffee table.

The top left corner and both images at the bottom are my favourite ways to style the acrylic coffee table. The clear structure of the table creates an illusion of a larger room and can work with any colour scheme. I love the stacked coffee table books with pops of knick knacks and even the minimal look with a vase of brightly coloured flowers. The translucent piece can complement any style and when I move into a larger place (possibly moving to Sydney – fingers crossed!) let’s hope one of these pieces will become mine! Check out some places to purchase here or check local stores.

Take a look at these other examples..

I’m totally in love with this style of coffee table, I’m thinking about finding an acrylic magazine holder to start me off.. are you in love with this trend too?

  1. Personally, I’m not in love with them but I agree they look cool in some places. The difficulty with them is that they could look stylish and make the place look bigger, as you said, or they could look nothing but cheap. And that we wouldn’t want!
I like the images from left top and left bottom corner most!

  2. LOVE these so much omg. I would love to have one to use as like a “breakfast in bed”/laptop/work table for the bedroom. Like something that’s high enough to go over the bed–they’re really modern and fun.
